What do we look like to Ghosts?

I was reading the comment left on one of my blogs by Autumforest and a comment that was made in the post made me think. We are trying to see ghosts and what they look like, but do we look normal to them?

I took some time and did a little research and came up with this....

And what I came up with is based on these two theories being true: All things are made of energy and energy produced at a different vibration level will create different things. My guess is that their view of the physical world is like us trying to get a clear view while sitting at the bottom of your pool. The water is too dense for our eyes to see a clear view and any movement in the water makes it that much worst. When we die we lose a large portion of our matter, and once we go to our spirit bodies the atmosphere here becomes too dense for us to see and possibly hear clearly (my opinion). Our vibration is too high to be here at that point. So by my theory, if you want to experience what it is like to be a ghost then the easiest way would be to go take a dip in the pool and see how well you see and hear under water.... P.S. ghosts don't have lungs so please hold your breath!

  1. Hey, glad to help inspire. It's impossible to imagine what we would look like to a ghost, but my guess is that the senses that were necessary for us on the earth to protect us (like scent so we know there's fire, taste so we know there's poison, sound so we know a buffalo's about to trample us) aren't going to be necessary to the soul's survival. The soul should be all-knowing without the need for senses. If you're there and the soul is near, the soul should (as a psychic would) realize you're there and acknowledge that a physically living being is near. Of course, all of this is conjecture; however, my father died for four minutes and he reported to me an out of body experience before he was brought back. He said everyone he loved that was gone was there, there were flowers that don't exist and colors that don't exist. I thought that was significant because perhaps at that point we are able to see the spectrum we don't see in now. In fact, perhaps a soul could see not only our physical form but our spiritual one, as well. Keep writing about these things--I just love the discussion! You did a great job of describing an intriguing theory.

  2. Thank you! I love your opinion on the subject too. The last part of your comment about seeing the physical as well as the spiritual is dead on. When I was reading about chakras I read an interesting theory about the number of chakras we have. I am sure you have heard that we have 7 chakras... Well, this article purposed that we actually have 12 chakras. The other 5 are located on our spirit body.... it's hard to really explain is a short post. I will try and find the article.
